What if I made it,

got up and worked,

revelling in fantasies.

What if happiness,

was a thing you could buy,

right next to dignity,

and other small supplies.

What if we lived,

in that cottage I dreamt of,

and with beautiful offspring,

we ran in the fields.

And what if this poem,

actually had a meaning,

what if you actually cared .
